CALL TO THE DEEP Description
Over the past forty years, Dcn. Ralph Poyo has been asked to deliver thousands of evangelistic messages of various lengths and formats. Within the last fourteen years, he has been frequently requested to present evangelistic parish missions. It became clear that the Holy Spirit was using this format as a means of not only leading hearts to encounter Christ but also calling veteran disciples of Jesus to deeper waters of faith.
Call To The Deep is the culmination of this profound message. When God deemed the message was ready, He brought about the circumstances that enabled NEM to have it professionally video recorded and produced. This is a four night parish mission presented in a four DVD or CD (audio) set. Each DVD/CD contains one ninety minute presentation.
Night #1 - The Saving Plan a God - Dcn. Ralph weaves through the Old and New Testaments in very practical and humorous ways that reveal the saving plan of God. The message this and every night concludes with a call to faith and abandonment into God's divine providence.
Night #2 - Spirit Warfare - The last theme added to this list, Spiritual Warfare becomes an essential topic as Dcn. Ralph reveals many practical tactics of Satan and Demons. Once he started to reveal the enemy's deceptive ways, mission participants started waking up and understanding the urgency of the Gospel.
Night #3 - Living in the Holy Spirit - The Holy Spirit is the best kept secret of the Catholic Church. He is the third person of the Trinity given to the Church for a specific purpose and very few parishes catechize on the Spirit. This presentation helps participants understand the practical application of the Spirit's anointing needed for growing in God's Kingdom.
Night #4 - Grounded In Discipleship - This presentation prepares the audience to move forward after the mission is over. Dcn. Ralph challenges them to get moving in their faith by establishing themselves in four fundamental disciplines of a Disciple of Jesus Christ.
Parishes will find this content very helpful to augment their program material in catechizing. Our hope is that they would use this material as a "pre-program" retreat to lead their parishioners to the Lord BEFORE they enter into their normal program materials. Lead them to the Lord first, then teach them to be His followers.
